Week End Update: Push Ahead Edition

Slug Academy Retrospective

Looks like 'Slug Academy' was fairly well received this week. I'm pleased that it came off so well for something I jotted out in a day. I'd like to do that again in the future, but it really depends upon finding the right idea that fits into a day's worth of writing, as well as the motivation. Neither of which always arrive simultaneously...

I can't say I'll be writing more in the Slug Academy universe, though I have briefly toyed with the idea of either showing some of Autumn's training at the school, or swapping to another Freshman and showing her treatment at the hand of her slug masters as she works to become obedient with her classmates. OBEY.

I like the premise, but no interesting plot has jumped out at me as of yet, so that idea seems dead in the water at the moment. I rarely am able to write sequels in the same universe, so I definitely won't promise anything.

Atonement

I've been trucking along on this story this week, but damn has writing been slow on it. I'm just not *feeling* it this chapter, which is making things even slower than usual. It may have been a mistake to temporarily change the point of view for the chapter to Nina, but it just made the most sense to push the plot forward. It also feels awkward writing a sex scene between an older alien keeper and a younger cow, but that also makes the most sense plot wise.

Even so, I'm up to 6946 words, and I expect this chapter can be finished out in another ~2000 words. If I gear up tomorrow I could probably get that done. I certainly need to clear the decks so I can start moving into the end game on this story.

Robotic Restitution

No progress yet on making the cover art for the second story, even though I know that's going to be a royal pain in the ass. I'm all setup to work on it, but I haven't yet buckled down on it.

Perhaps that's because I know there's two more chapters to proof before I can publish the first book, which, by the way, is still on schedule for release in about two week's time. I will, of course, make an announcement here and elsewhere once I've managed to figure all that that (oh boy, I'm really looking forward to that).

Other Stuffs

On deck is a story called 'Fallen Destiny,' a futa tale inspired by 'Fairy Fighting.' That's a story I've been meaning to write for several weeks, and might be a good candidate for a 'flash writing' experiment during non-writing hours. I'm still uncertain on that one. Probably will work it in after Atonement depending on what happens next. I always reserve the right to change my mind.

  1. I loved your work so far! Slug Academy was a fun and very hot read and I hope you plan on continuing it in some form.

If you're interested in writing futa content, there was a story prompt that was a little similar to Slug Academy. It took place in a female only research colony on a moon and the scientists and staff slowly get infected by a futa virus that enslaves them and spreads through sex. That could be amazing to see you write!

  2. Thanks! It was a bit of a hot flash, but if I can come up with another compelling tale in that universe, I will certainly tell it.

I'm okay with futa content, but it takes a certain kind to interest me. I'm afraid I'm not much into viruses, but if it was some kind of organism that attached itself to the ladies and incubated more of itself inside its victims, that would work much better.

    Something more like this:

But with fewer disgusting looking aliens, lol.

Another idea to add to the backlog!
