This hasn't been an amazing week for me. After having a migraine Wednesday, which halted progress on Atonement, I learned of the Kyoto Animation Fire. That's left me pretty sad the rest of the week, as some of their recent work is some of my favorite animation - specifically, Violet Evergarden.
That all said, I'm starting to do better, but progress has been slow this week.
Atonement
I released chapter four this week. I don't consider that to be my most inspired chapter, but it was necessary to progress the next stage of the story.
I've started writing chapter five, which starts focusing on what happens to Natalia, but as I said earlier, progress has slowed. Chapter five definitely won't be released this week, and the week after is looking iffy too.
However, there are only two chapters left to write, max, so I can say this story should be wrapped up sometime into next month. I'll keep at it!
Robotic Restitution
The delays hit this project as well, however, I was able to catch up this morning by editing chapter six, so this is still on track. I'm planning on getting the last chapter edited this week, and then I will need to work on putting together final manuscript. I would be willing to say that book one should be published around the beginning of August.
Slug Academy...II?
I don't currently have anything ready to post for this Wednesday, but I have thought up a semi-reasonable plot for another story in the Slug Academy universe. I think I'll have a go at that and see if I can get something ready in time. No promises, but the slugs may ride again!
Hang in there mate.
ReplyDeleteThat fire upset me as well.
Such a loss.
Just remember your not alone in your horror or loss.
Oh yes, I'm sure it will get better. The loss is there, but that cannot be changed. All we can do is harden our resolve and push forward.
