Week End Update: Slow Progress Edition

Atonement

As expected, progress has more or less stalled on this story this week due to the holiday. I have managed to get 1700 words down, but that's paltry compared to usual progress. Definitely nothing ready for this week, unfortunately. With any luck, and a standard writing schedule, I should have something ready for next week.

I'm currently still estimating two chapters left for this story to be completed, but there's some wiggle room as I haven't quite nailed down the final scenes. Depending on length, there may either be an epilogue or another chapter.

Robotic Restitution Trilogy

With the cover of the first book more or less finalized, I only need to finish proof reading the first book, put together the final manuscript, and figure out how to publish it. Since I've finished proofing the fourth chapter last week, that leaves three more chapters to go, which should be about three more weeks. It's coming up quick!

In the mean time, I've put on paper what I want the second cover to look like, and I shall be working on the artwork soonish. That means I'm on schedule so far. Whew!

Still a lot of work to go, but the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to become visible!

Other Errata

I don't really have any short stories on deck, but if I come up with something between now and Wednesday to write on my 'off hours', I may have something to post. But that would probably mean actually vanquishing the usual ennui and doing some writing instead of woodworking. We shall see. I keep having the idea of a revolting story about insect control bouncing around the back of my head, but there's nothing definite yet. Hard to say if that will result in anything as of yet.

I do have a blog post already written, but I'm not sure if it fits for a Wednesday debut, so I may have to write something else. Either way, I will have *something*, but what that something is I don't quite know yet.
