Week End Update: Octopussy Edition

Octopodded

I've been working (somewhat feverishly) on this story over the past week, as the deadline I need to hit is pretty narrow if I wish to complete the story before leaving for surgery the last week of this month (only about a week and a day away!)

The jury is still out on whether that will happen, but progress so far is promising. I've finished writing and editing chapter one, and I'm already ~5000 words into chapter 2. I haven't quite gotten my characters to the end game part of the story yet, but once they're in place the rest of the story should come out pretty quick. I already know how the last scene should go, so it shouldn't prove too complicated to write.

I'm hoping I'll be able to match my current output of writing ~2500 words per day on my writing days, but even with that I'm not sure whether two chapters will be enough to say all that needs to be said. It probably should be. Probably.

If it ends up going to a third chapter, it may not be finished in time.

That all said, the first chapter of Octopodded will definitely be posted on this blog for this Wednesday's midweek hotness. It should be posted to Literotica soon afterwards - again, this is pretty heavy on the really weird kinks, so I'm not sure it fits on the MC archive. Keep an eye out for it if you enjoy oviposition, octopuses, and mild vore.

Robotic Restitution

I don't have too much to say about this except for that I have finished editing another chapter. That leaves three left to go, and the last few chapter aren't that long. If all goes well with the surgery, I expect I'll be able to keep to my schedule of editing a chapter per week. If not, well, schedules will have to be adjusted.

I expect the second read through to go more quickly, as there should be much less editing to do; this is simply a last pass to ensure no awkward phrasing/dumb typos remain in the text. I plan to release each book in turn as I finish editing them, which means I'll need covers... but I'm just not going to worry about that right now.
