I have received a handful of kind comments about 'Incorporation.' I receive little feedback, so it's always nice to know I've struck a chord in some people.
The rough draft for chapter two is already completed, and I only need to edit it. I expect that I will have that done in time for posting on the MC archive this Saturday, and on this blog, sooner. Updates in Literotica always sit for a few days before being accepted, so it will probably show up there last.
This story is meant to be as lewd as I can pack it in, so expect more sex in this chapter, and every subsequent chapter. Speaking of which, there probably only will be 3 1/2-ish chapters in this story total given the outline I have put together. This isn't meant to be a super long tale (which is good, because it's holding up 'Vanished!')
As a bit of an escape valve, it's worked pretty well, because it seems to be coming out fairly quickly, but you never really know with creativity. It's hard to tell, though it does seem that the stories derived from dreams come together more quickly than ones I'm more analytical about.
I saw a comment that they're glad I'm posting on the archive again. In my mind, I never really stopped. The reality is that I'm pushing more of my stuff towards Amazon. There's nothing quite like being paid to get a better understanding as to whether people enjoy the sort of thing you're writing. It's the kind of feedback you just can't get when posting on free sites.
Do I plan to push everything to Amazon? I can say 'no' for certain on that one. There's a lot more work to do to get a story on Amazon than to post it to free sites, and there is some content that isn't suitable for selling. For one, I have to create covers for everything I post. Stock images aren't cheap, and I still haven't made back the money I've spent to buy the ones I've used for my current covers so far. Yes, I've done ALL of the covers for my ebooks so far, even the terrible ones. I am improving, but it is a slow process.
The harsh reality is, this hobby is not really a profitable one. At best, it's self sustaining. That's okay, but it means I just can't take it that seriously. There's no real impetus to write on more of a schedule.
That being the case, things happen when real life and real work don't interfere. I do hope you enjoy what I'm able to produce!
