Midweek Hotness: Bondage Escape Games Edition

Posture collars, gags, shiny latex, and restraints, oh my! These are indeed a few of my favorite things, though I must confess I've never actually have had the opportunity to use these on anyone. *Exaggerated Sigh*

Anybody interested in some experimentation? I do have quite an extensive collection of latex clothing, gags, hoods, collars, corsets, and boots (the natural end result of having too much curiosity and nobody to experiment with). No takers? Ah well, you can't have everything!

dbmaster8's Bondage Escape Games

I was reminded recently of some delightful bondage escape room games on DeviantArt, written by a fellow called dbmaster8 and illustrated by Zeta Mho (I'm not sure if he did all of them, but he's associated with the most recent games).

You can find all of them at his web page here.

Without a walk through, you may find some of them very difficult to finish, though they can be beaten with sufficient trial and error. If you want to see every scene, you can find lists of bad ends in his deviant art posts for many of his games, though I suspect by the time you reach the end of the game you'll just want to win!

Most of his games involve a FF couple who play bondage games with each other, though he does have two translated Japanese escape games with anime characters, and his first game is male dominant.

What makes his games particularly interesting to me is that I believe he wrote the game engine within which they are played as well, which is very impressive. I'd like to do the same myself, but I just can't bring myself to start such a project because I am not a huge fan of working in HTML/Javascript, and a game engine that would work the way I want it to would involve emitting an awful lot of dynamic HTML. Ah well, we'll save that 'bad end' for another day.

The art that shows you what's happening at each stage of the game really enhances the effect (and also makes me wish I was more of an artist). I'm totally not jealous. Totally.

I'll review a few of the games here, but I won't go through all of them (I haven't had the chance to play his latest game, so I can't review that one anyway).

Lia's Greatest Fan

You are a maid at a cafe and are captured. From there, you must figure out how to escape after being tightly bound and chained to the floor.

I find the most difficult part is figuring out where to start. The game does give you some hints, but I'll make it a lot more obvious: Look at the workbench first! The rest is up to you, but do keep in mind that your body parts can also be used with the 'Examine,' 'Move,' 'Remove,' and 'Open' keywords.

There are several situations where you can use the wrong object and end up with a bad ending, but fortunately, the game doesn't force you to start over from the beginning. Lots of these bad endings you're likely to find by accident while trying out different possibilities.

I would recommend not trying to leave the shed until you remove all your restraints, if you're shooting for the good ending... but the bad ending is entertaining enough that you probably want to see that as well.

I haven't played this particular game in a long time, so figuring out how to even get the chain removed from the ground took quite awhile to figure out. Don't get discouraged! Or, if you do, try one of the other games. :)

Lia's Adventure

In this story, you're playing poor, often-bound Lia in a fantasy setting, and your goal is to infiltrate a castle and beat its mistress. To do so, you must infiltrate the castle in a variety of ways to access different areas with magical spells to gather upgrades and additional spells you need to get further.

The starting part of the game is a little odd, because you don't have the ability to do anything BUT get bound in interesting ways. Keep trying to infiltrate the castle in different ways, and eventually you'll be granted a magical girl outfit that will allow you to cast spells. Once that happens, start out by looking for a spell in the dungeon and work your way up from there.

Be aware that if you're gagged, you can't cast any spells, so it behooves you to choose the infiltration option that has no mouth gag. Also keep in mind that your three options - sneak into dungeon, play maid, or pretend to be a noble, have different options once you're inside the castle, so if you get stuck playing one role and can't find the spell or tiara needed to proceed, try a different route to find what's required.

I quite enjoyed this one, and am looking forward to trying out Lia's Revenge.

Random Thoughts

I'll probably be posting more generic, non-MC materials I find hot as time goes on since MC specific kink is a bit more niche than my other kinks. However, I still have more topics on the backlog to post that are MC related, so stay tuned!

(Arm behind the back bondage looks amazing, but it's probably terribly painful for any length of time. This position looks a bit more comfortable than the full behind the back pose of the lady above, but still, not sure if it would be a good idea to keep yourself bound in this position for too long. But what do I know? I've never had the pleasure.)
