The Rubber Order: Sanctification
I hope the New Year is treating everyone well!
I'm excited to announce that I will be submitting my latest novella, 'The Rubber Order: Sanctification', to Amazon for publication tomorrow.
Here's the synopsis:
"Ruby withdrew from her rubber nun training, attempting to start over
again at a small convent as a working menial. Blaming herself for the
death of her husband, and grieving her lost child, she tries her best
to fit in with the other menials.
Her
presence is not accepted, however, and when a new Father arrives, she
becomes his number one target. Braving punishment after punishment,
she begins to believe that she is no longer worthy of salvation.
Picking
up the ruined pieces of her life might take more help than a visiting
Father can provide, but her desire to wear the rubber has only grown
during her time in isolation. Putting her trust in God, she
desperately searches for a way to heal her soul.
Inflatable
rubber, whips, and revenge can be a heady brew indeed."
I'll post full details when it releases, of course, but in the meantime, I also have news on the road ahead as well.
The Gift That Keeps on Giving
As of Friday, I finished a short story (~16 K), about the transformation of a couple into weird reptilian aliens via mind control squickiness. It ran around ~40 pages, so I've finally managed to produce a short!
This is a rather new thing for me, so it's going to take a while to get it sorted out for release. I don't even have a cover for it yet!
I'm planning on working through the editing and cover over the next few weeks, and I suspect I should have it ready by early February. Since it lands within the 'short' length, I'm going to sell it for $2.99.
If you like this sort of bizarre stuff, keep a look out for it around then, and here's the synopsis to whet your appetite:
"Justine doesn’t know what to make of the alien gift her husband brought home from work. Is it a plant? Is it an animal?
Either way, the golden globes that extend from the creature’s carapace were certainly mesmerizing, and she couldn’t fault its desire to find more light on a mining planet that received little.
But why can’t she stop herself from admiring it? From petting it? And why did her body seem to be changing to address its various needs?
Sure, the reptilian scales looked pretty, her tongue was super long, and she felt awfully horny all the time, but it was starting to get difficult to convince herself that she was still human. Perhaps her husband would know what was going on.
If not, she certainly wouldn’t mind showing off her new gifts."
The Future
I have a large assortment of various story ideas I cooked up over winter break, which I'll be working through one by one in the new year. I've created outlines for all of them, so they're already past the stage where I might consider scrapping them.
I expect most of them to be shorts, while others might turn into novellas, but none of them, so far, appear to be novels. That could always change, of course, but we shall see!
I've roughly grouped them by subject matter, and I'm not planning on tackling them in any particular order. If anyone has a preference as to what you'd like to see first, let me know!
Over Easy - Two college aged girls get infested by alien parasites and become egg breeders (currently in progress).
The Lump - A woman gets infested by beetles and is turned into their nest.
Repopulated - The aliens invade with slug-like creatures and begin to take victims for unknown experimentation.
Mars Needs Milkers - Cow aliens abduct a couple and turn them into breeding cows.
Bull Moon - Two women get involved with the Bull/Minotaur demon, Hygraxus, who slowly corrupts them into his cows.
The Milking Hour - Katy has just reached the age of maturation in her family of cows. She desperately wants to be a cow, but her family wants her to consider her other options. This goes off the rails when a lab, who's experimenting on cows, starts experimenting upon her.
There's more details in my outlines, but that should suffice for now. This year should be super interesting!
